Once Seen, an exhibition by Linda Fantuzzo
Opening Tuesday, April 8, from 5-7pm at Peter Anthony Fine Art
15 Broad Street in Charleston, SC

February 17, 2025–Charleston, SC. Peter Anthony Fine Art presents a solo exhibition by artist Linda Fantuzzo. This collection features paintings on canvas and panel created in her Charleston studio. The public is invited to an opening reception of this exhibit on Tuesday, April 8th, from 5-7pm at 15 Broad Street.
Once Seen, is a body of work influenced by the quality of light and the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Fantuzzo expresses “A landscape is more than seen; it is felt. And sometimes it is merely a glance that says it all. The things seen out of the corner of my eye often reveal the essence of that particular moment, and the atmospheric conditions secure my emotional response. Later, with memory and a brush loaded with paint, I endeavor to capture the experience of that site and moment in time.”
Linda Fantuzzo studied Fine Art at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts before moving to Charleston. Her work is largely inspired by the light and atmosphere of the lowcountry landscape that first drew her to the region. Fantuzzo worked non-objectively in various media for over a decade before returning to representational painting. She has been represented by galleries in the Charleston area since the 1970s, and has had five solo museum exhibitions in South Carolina and Georgia. She is also active in the arts community, having served on panels for the SC State Arts Commission Acquisitions Committee, the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, Redux, and the Trident Region Arts & Culture Plan.
Peter Anthony Fine Art is honored to present this series, which will be on view from April 8th through April 29.
Peter Anthony Fine Art is located at 15 Broad Street in Charleston, SC. For more information, or to receive a preview of the exhibition, please contact Kaitlin at Peter Anthony Fine Art by email at [email protected]
Inaugural Group Show
Opening reception Friday, March 7, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m.
15 Broad Street

January 2, 2025—Charleston, SC: Peter Anthony Fine Art is set to open in March 2025 at the recently renovated 15 Broad Street in downtown Charleston. The gallery will welcome the public to its inaugural group show on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. This exhibition will run through Tuesday, April 1.
Peter Anthony Fine Art is dedicated to showcasing a wide range of artistic styles, mediums, and subjects. Each artist has been handpicked for their ability to redefine and illuminate the limits of their particular medium. The gallery represents both emerging contemporary artists and established names from the arts community, both nationally and locally.
Two of the artists whose work will be introduced are Andrew Hayes and Jamie Powell. Sculptor Andrew Hayes, based in Western North Carolina, uses steel and books to create what he describes as “aesthetically intriguing objects that highlight how seeming opposites can work together.” Additionally, New York-based fiber artist Jamie Powell explores the boundaries of her medium by transforming her artistic ideas into three-dimensional objects. She achieves this through dyeing, braiding, weaving, and staining raw canvas.
The inaugural exhibition will include works from all artists on the Peter Anthony roster, including local talent Linda Fantuzzo, Jonathan Rypkema, and James Durkin, alongside nationally acclaimed artists Jamie Powell, Tong Zhang, Bill Killebrew, and Andrew Hayes.
Peter Anthony Fine Art will also represent the estate of Manning Williams, a distinguished Charleston native who left an enduring legacy through his paintings. Works from throughout Williams’ 40-year career will be featured at the gallery.
Peter Anthony Fine Art is located at 15 Broad Street in Charleston, SC. Details about the inaugural exhibition and opening events will follow. For more information about the gallery please contact us by email at [email protected]
